The privileges

Some people just do not know what kind of privileges they have, because they are used to it. They just see things they have at home or surround them as normal and basic things that everyone have. Not until they face the reality themselves, then that's the moment they will realise they have been living in other person's dream.

In my view, I actually do not realise that I have been living in underprivilege life?? I dont know, maybe it is just a normal one. Everything was completed and enough, but not perfectly. I am grateful for it Alhamdulillah.

Until I entered my bachelor's life. I started to question myself, was my life just normal or is it not? and started to compare my life with others. It feels okay but why was it different from them?

I have a house. I have my parents. My dad has great job. They have a car. I have pairs of shoes. I have nice shirts. I can eat every day.

and then it became like this..

but it is a rental house and my grandparents'. but they're old. but he did not go to university. but it has been used for 15 years. but they have no brand. but my parents not, they bought mine every year but forgot about themselves. but only once a day.

I kept looking up to others that I forgot to be grateful for everything I have. It may not be luxury, but it is still valuable. It is also the privilege for some people.

Now I learnt that we should not compare ourselves with others but to compare ourselves with our past self. I believe it must be different, and much better. We will strive to be better than yesterday and not than someone else. just compete with us. ourselves. Do not rush, everything is going to be fine.

I believe it is a great mindset. to be a great person, change your perspective first.
